4 Signs You’re Suffering From Groundhog Day

Do you feel you’re living the same day in your business over and over again?

I was recently doing a more profit and more freedom road map with a consultant and he said to me.

“Carl I feel like I’m living groundhog day, it’s the same day over and over again!”

What about you, are you suffering from business groundhog day?

Four Signs That You Are Suffering From Groundhog Day

1. Systemising But Still Working Hard.

The first thing is, you systemising your business, you investing in technology, you’re creating system that you don’t seem to actually have more free time. You’re not spending more time with the kids, you’re not going on more holidays and you’re not sitting around and doing things outside your business you’ve like to be doing. So first sign is that your systemising but it doesn’t seems to be working.

2. Not Marketing Consistently.

The second sign is there is no consistent marketing. You’re only relying on referrals and attending networking events like DNI then you’re not marketing consistently and getting people to come to you and you’re just keep living that same day over and over again having a system in place looking clients to you.

3. Never Ending To-Do Lists.

The third sign that you are in groundhog day in your business is you have never ending and forever going to do list. There’s always a thousand things ways business owners can be doing and you just keep adding that to to-do list and even that you might got few things done everyday or even got a whole lot done on one particular day. You then look at it and you feel like you haven’t really got much done. So if you have never ending and always doing to do list then you probably setting yourself up or living groundhog day.

4. Farming Clients Rather than Hunting For More.

The fourth sign that I see in consulting businesses that show me you’re probably living groundhog day is that you’re farm rather than hunt. What do I mean by that? I mean you are really good when you get a client on extracting the most amount of money. You are great on what you do and you keep coming back and they love you but you’re focusing on farming and getting more money in your existing clients rather than hunting and bringing new clients in to your business.
